OUR EYES CREATE THE WORLD.
The “Meta Book“ contains a lot of secrets that first want to be disvovered. It was developed under the direction of “Illumination Designers“ of Meta ID. Wrapped in cryptic packaging, a pure white book block is found, which is apparently unprinted under normal light. The contents only becomes visible under UV light. The great challenge of the project consisted in the experimental tests in advance, which tested the interaction of the UV-active security color with different paper samples. The UV printing itself was then very simple; 1/1 color with adhesive binding. Even our printers had the feeling of producing only white paper and had to convince themselves of the quality of their work under black light.
THE PLAY WITH MATERIALS, PRINTING AND FINISHING TURNS THE BRAND APPEARANCE INTO A STAGING.
The cryptically branded cartonnage contains a plexiglass box.
The pure white book block fits exactly into the engraved plexiglass cover.
The book contains only white pages … which only become readable under black light.
