Disturbing and sometimes tumultuous scenes occured at nightfall in Berlin Johannisthal. In the otherwise very quiet commercial area around the Sportfliegerstraße, an unusually high number of sinister figures were observed gathering in an empty industrial hall. With increasing volume and dull rhythms, there were outbursts of good humor, sometimes ecstatic convulsions and unrestrained celebration. The police watched the event suspiciously, but refrained from intervening for reasons of their own security.

A Black Mass may have been celebrated in the future halls of Druckhaus Sportflieger.
Those present seemed to know each other …
… or became best friends in the course of the evening.
Dark plans were hatched and immediately sealed with a drink.
In some cases there were armed conflicts.
THIS IS HOW WE WANTED TO PRINT!
In the empty industrial halls of our future Druckhaus Sportflieger we organized the Christmas party for all employees of Ruksaldruck, Druckerei Conrad, Medialis, Pro Business and our future partners of buks! and Reinhart&Wasser … as well as for many other guests and partners.
We started the evening nervously, because a lot was at stake. How would our employees react to this strange and empty place? Would they accept their new colleagues? How long would it take to grow together into a common and strong workforce?
Fortunately, our employees arrived very relaxed in the Sportfliegerstraße. They already knew that with all the changes there would be no layoffs. All employees could imagine taking part in the move and starting over again under new conditions at the new location.
This is exactly how we always wanted to print: The perspective of building a very quality-oriented printing house with bookbinding and premium digital printing under one roof is very tempting for all people who are enthusiastic about printing!
The management was delighted with a handmade print shop monopoly.

UNDER A GIGANTIC DISCO BALL: THE BIRTH OF A REALLY GOOD IDEA.
The Christmas party turned out to be a real icebreaker: Between dance floor and bar, kicker and table tennis, photo box and chill-out area, some of the best printers, bookbinders, color, paper, repro and digital experts of the capital celebrated. And an oversized disco ball rotated above everything.
Everyone present had the feeling of being part of the beginning of something very big. No matter if Medialis, Ruksaldruck, Conrad, buks!, Reinhart&Wasser or whoever: In this night all felt somehow like … Sportflieger!
The photo box created moments for eternity.
Fortunately, the new partners are also good for celebrating.

And really everyone is looking forward to the new beginning in the Sportfliegerstraße.
