In a complex production the image of the customer comes alive.
The Inside Job
THIS BOOK HAS IT ALL.
Behind the luxurious illustrated book with the conspiratorial title is surprisingly a noble restaurant in Cape Town, South Africa. The customer had very precise ideas about the production and gave us the opportunity to make full use of our experience in printing, finishing and bookbinding: From tranparent pages and fold-outs to screen printing and hot foil embossing on linen, we were able to realize the whole spectrum in-house. Through embossing and screen printing tests as well as several proofs, we tested our ideas and ensured the high quality of production.
The book shows the people, recipes and stories behind the noble restaurant.
In addition to hot foil embossing, screen printing is also applied directly to the fabric of the book cover.
Glued-in, printed transparent pages tell complex stories.
THE BOOK GAVE US THE OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE FULL USE OF OUR CAPABILITIES IN PRINTING, FINISHING AND BINDING.
Matt semi-transparent pages create the look of a photo album with the varnished photos.
Fold-out pages give the inner part an exciting dramaturgy.
